Flipbook Artefact

What interests me most about design is the possibility of bringing different ideas together to create something new. I’m particularly interested in design that can connect with and immerse people into another world. I think that’s one of the special things about design, it can bring ideas, people and experiences together. I wanted to explore how a small interaction can develop into something larger and more meaningful. Through three playful characters, I visualised the meeting of different ideas and the unexpected possibilities that can emerge from connection. When the characters collide, sparks appear, and as they come together, their interaction begins to transform the world around them, creating an imaginative environment that the viewer is invited into.

This reflects what interests me about visual storytelling, experimentation and experience-making. I’m particularly drawn to motion graphics because of its ability to tell a story and create something that audiences can connect with and feel immersed in.

Through the flipbook, I wanted to turn this idea of movement and connection into something physical that the viewer can interact with and experience for themselves.
